It’s not all about “socks, snails and sandals”! The Vienna Roman Museum wants to give 3rd year primary school pupils an insight into the life and history of the Romans with workshops and teaching materials for the classroom. The children will see what it’s like to write on a wax tablet and can dress up just like the ancient Romans did!

Actually, fashion was a pretty big deal back in the Roman Empire: Caesar was known for long-sleeved tunics with flamboyant fringes! And only senators could wear purple…
