Exciting opening of the CONCORDIA Learning Centre in Vienna’s 2nd district with musical support from the organisation KULTUR FÜR KINDER..

Reputable guests from the church, financial and political spheres were present – alongside many lively, singing children from many different countries – as the centre was opened by Chairman Dr Hans Peter Haselsteiner, CEO Mag, Ulla Konrad and DSA Sonja Hamburger, head of the LenZ centre for families and learning in Hochstettengasse 6.

KULTUR FÜR KINDER brought along professional musicians and refugee children to the opening, who performed together songs from different nations and cultures to the delight of the guests.

Three employees and many volunteers help children from different nationalities with homework and revision at the new learning centre. But it’s not all work! The children can play, read, sing, dance and do anything else that they enjoy .

The LenZ Café provides parents with support and advice, German courses for women, child-care and mother-child activities.

“He who saves one life, saves the world!”: the slogan of the private non-profit foundation Concordia, which was founded buy Peter Georg Sporschill as an independent support organisation for children, young people and families in need.
