On their tours, which take them to cities across all continents, they inspire people from all nations with their voices, as they have been doing for 600 years. But they themselves also learn native melodies that possess special powers: a magic that makes the flowers grow faster, makes the sun shine brighter, dispels sadness, and even heals pain in a miraculous way. So that this treasure chest of songs is never lost, they need the help of as many children as possible. And where better to find them than in Vienna, the capital of music? Here stands the beautiful former Augarten Palace, where the choirboys live and where the primary school teachers learn and practise the songs in a training workshop.
So every month the children read about the exciting experiences of the choirboys and look forward to learning a new song that they can also pass on to their families and friends. A special highlight is when they visit the Vienna Boys Choir in their concert hall MuTh to perform together these songs from across the globe, making sure the treasure is never lost!
